Vegas in Clearwater

In the space previously occupied by Cork N Brew Bistro, a sushi restaurant has moved in.

Sekushi, known for its sushi, noodles and other Asian fare, is scheduled to open this month.

The restaurant’s flagship location is based in Las Vegas in the Paris Casino and is owned and operated by HIG Management Group, also based there.

At Sekushi’s Clearwater Beach location, Chef Viet Vo will be the operational partner. He currently runs Frankie’s Lobstah Trap at Tampa’s International Plaza.

Sekushi is the latest member of the Mad Chef family. Mad Chef is the Tampa-based full-service catering and consulting company led by Vo, who’s cooked in kitchens all over the Tampa Bay area and helped open several others, including Tampa’s Sushi Alive! and Souzou in St. Petersburg. ♦
