Great Places & Spaces: Harrison Apartment Suites

LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville-based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior living and mixed-use developments, has begun work on the Harrison Apartment Suites at 2575 University Parkway, Sarasota.

The developer, Liv Development of Birmingham, Alabama, chose Charlan Brock Associates of Maitland to design the gated community that sits on 11.2 acres. Completion is planned for the fall of 2020.

The LandSouth team working on the Harrison is led by project manager Ryland Thompson and field superintendent Scott Macaulay. The project will have 240 apartments in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 840 to 1,988 square feet.

The 353,505-square-foot project’s access-controlled amenities will include a clubhouse, a pool with pavilion, a dog park and wash, lakes and parking.
