Great Places and Spaces: The Sapphire

The Sapphire condo project is planned at 602 3rd Ave., S., St. Petersburg.

The building will be six stories, with 10 residential units, ranging from 715 to 1,550 square feet, in one-bedroom and three-bedroom floorplans.

The building will also have 685 square feet of ground-floor retail space, with the top floor featuring two one-bedroom, one-bathroom units as well as an exercise room and a rooftop terrace with a large hot tub.

Units will feature floor to ceiling windows, and private balconies, off of each living room. The Sapphire project is a collaboration between Behar Peteranecz Architecture and EE Architects.

The development’s groundbreaking was scheduled for June 2020, with an expected completion date later this summer. Pricing for units at the Sapphire begins in the low $300,000s, for one-bedroom units, and the mid-$700,000s for three-bedroom units.
