Kevin Kiermaier honored as 2020 Dreammaker of the Year

Kevin Kiermaier, a center fielder for the Tampa Bay Rays, was named 2020’s Dreammaker of the Year by the Children’s Dream Fund.

Kiermaier was recognized at the organization’s virtual 2020 Dreammaker Luncheon for his work with the Kiermaier’s Kids program.

With a $25,000 donation to the Children’s Dream Fund, Kevin Kiermaier, and his wife, Marisa, fulfilled the dreams of six children – “Kiermaier’s Kids” – who are living with life-threatening illnesses.

The Kiermaier’s Kids’ dreams included meeting Mickey Mouse, visiting Disney World to meet the princesses, setting sail on a Disney cruise, attending a Queen concert, a full car makeover and a new, fully equipped tool shed, as reported on the Tampa Bay Rays website.
