Fashion Designer Silvia Tcherassi bringing runway collection to Tampa Museum of Art event (PHOTOS)

The Tampa Museum of Art’s fundraising event CITY: Fashion+Art+Culture will feature an appearance by Fashion Designer Silvia Tcherassi and a runway fashion show of her latest collection.

Forbes named Tcherassi one of Colombia’s 50 most powerful women of 2020. As a designer and entrepreneur, she became the first Latin American designer to be invited to Paris and Milan’s official fashion week calendars. Her fashions have been featured in publications like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, WWD and Vanity Fair, and her brand extension Tcherassi Hotels was selected by Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure as one of the best in the world, according to a statement.

CITY: Fashion+Art+Culture, now in its 11th year, will take place on April 29.

Co-chairs of the event are Francesca Forsyth and Hannah Goodwin. Proceeds from CITY support the Tampa Museum of Art’s exhibitions and education programs for children, teens and adults. Purchase tickets here.
