Morgan Auto Group acquires former Jim Browne Tampa dealerships

Morgan Automotive Group has opened the recently acquired, all-new, Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Tampa Bay and Morgan Chevrolet, both formerly under the Jim Browne name.

Both dealerships are located on Florida Avenue in Tampa.

This is Morgan Automotive Group’s ninth CDJR store, along with Jerry Ulm, Arrigo and more. While it is Morgan’s second Chevrolet dealership, it is their first General Motors store in the Tampa Bay area, according to a statement.

“We’re excited that these stores will have a huge impact on the truck market in Tampa Bay,” said Brett Morgan, chief executive officer of the Morgan Automotive Group, in the statement. “We’re also looking forward to what General Motors is doing in the EV (Electric Vehicle) space. It’s a great time for both brands and we’re happy to be a part of it.”

The acquisitions will be the 54th and 55th stores for the Morgan Auto Group and will be their 22nd and 23rd stores in Tampa Bay.
