Scott Fink’s philanthropic heart is well known throughout the Tampa Bay community. Berkeley Preparatory School, St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and Metropolitan Ministries are just a few organizations he’s given time, talent and treasure to throughout the years.
He set up a process years ago that allocates money from each sale of a new or used vehicle, which is added to a charity account. Those funds are used for various charitable causes in Tampa Bay, from little leagues to the SPCA, he says it doesn’t matter, it’s just there to help any cause in need.
Fink and his passion for Metropolitan Ministries was a diving force in expanding the nonprofit’s mission into Pasco County.
In 2012, the Fink family made a $100,000 donation to Metropolitan Ministries to help establish transitional housing in Pasco County.
As generous as he is with his check signing hand, he also isn’t above rolling up his sleeves and doing some heavy lifting.
He and his teams at his auto dealerships have been known to deliver meals for Meals on Wheels and volunteering at Metropolitan Ministries’ holiday tents.
