Virtual summit ‘Women of India – Leading in a Time of Crisis’ happening Saturday

On Saturday, August 1, a virtual summit “Women of India – Leading in a Time of Crisis” will aim to lead discussions on bringing change, at the grassroots level, within India with input, and perspective, from a global audience.

Keynote speakers include Bollywood Icon Jacqueline Fernandez and Arunachalam  Muruganantham (Mr. Padman).

The summit will also feature Dr. Bindu Babu, Manjula Lee, Shivali Bhammer, Gunjan Jain and many more empowering women.

“Through this forum, we aim to provide tools, resources and knowledge to women during this time to think about new ways of leading, innovating, collaborating and helping drive change in India,” said Rina Patel, executive vice president for the Women Ambassador Forum in Tampa, which is also leading the summit. “We are also gathering to find ways urban women can support and empower rural women. Our goal, with this summit in India, is to reach over 2,000 registrations and in parallel, fundraise to help feed low-income families and provide sanitary pads for young girls and women!”
