HONEY’S MINI THERAPY ADVENTURES
Category: Young (under 40)
Gullet, an eighth-generation Floridian, was born and raised in Tampa. Her dedication to community service began in her youth, volunteering with organizations like The Trinity Café, The Joshua House and Quantum Leap Farm. She currently works as an inpatient clinical social worker at Lakeland Regional Hospital, where she provides critical support to patients and their families.
In 2018, Gullet founded Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures, a nonprofit that brings portable equine therapy to hospitals, schools, behavioral health facilities and nursing homes, across Central Florida. Under her leadership, Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures has facilitated over 500 visits, annually, reaching more than 50,000 people. She is dedicated to proving the clinical efficacy of equine therapy, working toward integrating these services into health care systems as insurance-billable therapies.
