Frameworks promotes chief operating officer and fills managing director role

Frameworks, a Tampa Bay nonprofit that partners with educators and community organizations to teach emotional intelligence to children of all ages, has announced a promotion, and new hire, in its leadership team.

Whitney Allgood was promoted to the chief operating officer. She has more than 25 years of experience in K-12 education and organizational leadership.

Before joining Frameworks, Allgood was chief executive officer at the National School Climate Center, national director of teen programs at Step Up and chief of staff at The News Literacy Project.

Rebecca “Becky” Gunderman Elliott joins Frameworks as managing director, programs. Elliott has more than 25 years of experience in the field of education. For the past 13 years, she served as assistant principal of the Elementary School at Academy of the Holy Names, in Tampa.
