Great Places and Spaces: Redesign unveiled for Waldorf Astoria Residences (RENDERINGS)

Jo-Lynn Brown October 21, 2024

New renderings were released for the 49-story Waldorf Astoria Residences, at 150 2nd Avenue South, in downtown St. Petersburg.

The project would be the first hotel-branded luxury condominium in St. Pete and is expected to have 164 condominium units, available in two-, three- and four-bedrooms. The penthouses will be some of the largest condominiums in the city.

The tower will offer around 86,000 square feet of Class A office space and 11,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.

The updated design was created by Miami-based CUBE 3.

The Waldorf Astoria Residences is a joint venture between Miami-based Property Markets Group and the owners of the City Center office building, which includes Feldman Equities, City Office REIT and Tower Realty Partners.

Before development can proceed, the project must receive approval from the St. Petersburg City Council, acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency. Pricing and a construction timeline for the project has not been announced.
