Bank of America names Feeding Tampa Bay and The Skills Center as 2024 Neighborhood Builders

Feeding Tampa Bay and The Skills Center have been selected as Bank of America’s 2024 Neighborhood Builders, an honor that includes $200,000 in flexible funding and leadership training for each nonprofit.

The program, celebrating its 20th year, aims to bolster local organizations addressing critical community needs.

Feeding Tampa Bay plans to use the funding to provide over one million healthy meals, in the coming year.

The Skills Center plans to expand its team and develop income-generating strategies to sustain its programs including services at its new 95,800-square-foot facility.

Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders program has invested $10 million in 51 Tampa nonprofits since its inception, supporting leadership development and community impact. Nationally, the initiative has provided over $300 million to 1,800 organizations and trained more than 3,000 leaders.
