Village On the Isle, a retirement community on Venice Island, has started a $78 million expansion to include a 9,200-square-foot wellness center and 54 new independent living units.
The wellness center, “The Core,” will feature a fitness center, indoor pickleball court, zero-entry outdoor pool, spa and poolside lounge. The project will also add two five-story buildings with units ranging from 1,300 to 1,800 square feet, which are nearly 90% presold since presales began in September 2024.
The nonprofit community, established in 1979, is less than half a mile from the Gulf of Mexico and offers independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing services.
