20 Questions with Sabina Chaudhry

President & CEO of American Infrastructure Development

Born in Pakistan, Sabina Chaudhry’s journey in aviation began with frequent relocations to the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, sparking her love for travel and entrepreneurship.

She attended the University of South Carolina, working full-time at the state’s Department of Transportation, while earning her bachelor’s in political science. There, she gained insight into infrastructure development, blueprint analysis and community engagement. She later worked in real estate law and solid waste consulting, broadening her expertise in key regulatory and development areas. She earned a master’s in health care administration from USC, securing one of twelve competitive program slots.

In 2009, she founded American Infrastructure Development, initially as a general transportation consulting firm, before shifting to aviation. AID has since worked with over 70 airports nationwide, including Tampa International Airport.

Fulfilling her childhood dream, Chaudhry became a pilot and now serves as president and chief executive officer of AID, leading successful aviation projects across the U.S. and Caribbean.
