Trulieve Cannabis Corp. will open a medical cannabis dispensary in Lutz on April 11, expanding its retail footprint in Hillsborough County.

The location, at 24408 State Road 54, is scheduled to open Saturday and will host a grand opening event April 24. The store will offer walk-in service and express pickup, with hours from 9 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Trulieve, one of Florida’s largest medical cannabis operators, has built a statewide retail network supported by delivery, online ordering and in-store pickup. The company operates about 170 dispensaries across Florida, including a dense cluster of locations in the Tampa Bay region.

Florida operates a medical-only cannabis system that requires licensed operators to grow, process and sell their own products, a structure that has concentrated market share among a small number of large companies.

“Providing high-quality products in a welcoming environment is central to our mission,” Chief Executive Officer Kim Rivers said. “We are thrilled to offer patients in Hillsborough County convenient and compassionate care as part of their wellness journey.”

The Lutz store will carry Trulieve’s in-house brands, including Modern Flower, Cultivar Collection and Roll One, along with partner products such as Alien Labs, Connected Cannabis and Sunshine Cannabis, distributed through its Florida network.

Across Florida, the company offers home delivery and online ordering, with in-store pickup integrated into its retail model. Veterans receive a standing discount and first-time patients are eligible for introductory pricing.

The Lutz location will add to Trulieve’s presence in the Tampa Bay region, part of a broader expansion across its core Florida market.
