►J.E. Charlotte Construction, a Venice-based commercial construction company, completed the 300-square-foot in-ground pool for doggie daycare guests at the Sarasota Bayside Pet Resort, a luxury pet resort that offers five-star amenities to its canine and feline visitors.

Sarasota’s JDub’s Brewing Co. will begin distributing beer to Georgia and plans to release new packaging varieties, including two 12-packs.

BPE Holdings LWR purchased a multitenant office building in Lakewood Ranch.

►BPE Holdings LWR purchased a multitenant office building in Lakewood Ranch for $3.5 million at 8433 Enterprise Circle, with Nick DeVito II and Joanna Ginder of Ian Black Real Estate representing the buyer.

►Jewish Family and Children’s Service of the Suncoast, a community-based social service nonprofit in Sarasota, appointed Deborah Hedde-Croce as its chief people and culture officer.

►Ian Black Real Estate, a Sarasota commercial real estate brokerage firm, established a charitable foundation with Gulf Coast Community Foundation.

►The Gulf Coast Community Foundation board elected Lisa Krouse, executive vice president and chief administrative officer at FCCI Insurance Group; David Sessions, president and CEO of Willis A. Smith Construction, and Peter Soderberg, managing partner of Worthy Venture Resources, as members.

The brewpub Oak & Stone will open its second Sarasota-area location in a former Buffalo Wild Wings at 4067 Clark Road, in the Expo on Clark shopping plaza.

Neal Communities donated the use of the old Palmetto Pines Golf Course sandwich shop to the Parrish Fire Rescue District.

►Neal Communities, a Sarasota-based homebuilder, donated use of the old Palmetto Pines Golf Course sandwich shop to the Parrish Fire Rescue District to conduct firefighter training; Pat Neal bought the golf course property in 2006 for $15.1 million.

►David Weekley Homes began construction of its estimated $65 million Payne Park Village project in Sarasota, which includes 135 townhomes, villas and single-family homes.

National homebuilder and developer Taylor Morrison broke ground on The Heights community in Bradenton, which will bring two new neighborhoods, Esplanade at The Heights and Grandview at The Heights, to the 200-acre development.

►Neal Communities of Southwest Florida purchased a roughly 450-acre multifamily property at the northwest corner of Fruitville Road and Lorraine Road, just south of Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club Sarasota, for $21.55 million.
