Michelin-starred Lilac unveils new tasting and à la carte menus at The Tampa EDITION (PHOTOS)

Tampa’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Lilac at The Tampa EDITION, is evolving its dining experience with a newly expanded menu format. Guests can now choose between an eight-course chef-guided tasting menu or a personalized à la carte selection, marking the first time the restaurant has offered both options.

Led by chef and restaurateur John Fraser of JF Restaurants, Lilac has earned national and international attention for its Mediterranean cuisine rooted in seasonal, local ingredients.

“Our goal since opening Lilac has been to push Tampa forward as a culinary destination while creating unforgettable experiences for our guests,” said Fraser. “Introducing an à la carte option alongside our tasting menu allows us to give diners more freedom while staying true to our ethos of seasonal, vegetable-forward cuisine.”

Some of the new dishes include the Diver Scallop with pine nut–preserved lemon risotto and rosemary embers, Caramelle Cacio e Pepe with baby squashes and piquillo peppers, and Scamp Grouper a la plancha with Vesuvian tomato puttanesca and roasted eggplant caviar.

Since its debut in 2022 at The Tampa EDITION, Tampa’s first five-star hotel, Lilac has received accolades from Travel + Leisure, Fodor’s and the MICHELIN Guide, which awarded the restaurant one star for the third consecutive year in 2025.

UPDATED: An earlier version of this story addressed Lilac as the only Michelin restaurant in Tampa. There are four others, including Ebbe, Koya, Kosen and Rocca.
