Former Bucs player puts Tampa home on the market

Former NFL quarterback Vinny Testaverde is selling his six-acre lakefront estate in Odessa.

The 12,700-square-foot home in the gated Dolce Vita neighborhood, overlooking Lake Keystone, has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms. Listed at $4.999 million. The home underwent a $1 million restoration and renovation in 2018.

The estate features an open floorplan, a great room with coffered ceiling and gas fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, a sun room, a master bedroom with private terrace and en suite bath, office, a movie theater, a dance studio, a game room, a billiard room with bar, a wine cellar, a sauna and a full-size gym with an adjacent kitchen.

The property features a heated pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, tennis/basketball court, private golf simulation room, boat house, dock with lift, four-car garage and brick driveway with a gate. It is zoned to accommodate equestrian interests.

Testaverde bought it in 2007, a year before he retired from football after playing for seven NFL teams—Tampa Bay (1987-92), Cleveland, Baltimore, New York Jets, Dallas, New England and Carolina.

Evan Pedone with Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach is the listing agent.
