Gordan Murray’s Supercar
Gordon Murray Automotive, sister business of vehicle design and engineering company Gordon Murray Design, announced details of its first vehicle—the T.50 supercar. Conceived as the successor to the Murray-devised McLaren F1, the T.50 will be the lightest, most driver-focused supercar available, the company promises. Development of the T.50 is at an advanced stage, with full production and customer deliveries set to commence in early 2022. Only 100 will be created. Bombardier Global 6500 business jet
Bombardier’s Global 6500 aircraft is moving closer to entry into service. Flight testing is progressing with 90 percent of flight testing completed at Bombardier’s test center in Wichita, Kansas. The first flight test vehicle has successfully completed all mission testing and is now retired. The Rolls-Royce Pearl’s 15 engines and a new wing make the Global 6500 aircraft faster and more efficient, the company says. The Global 6500 aircraft features a redesigned cabin and debuts the Nuage chaise—a lounge chair that converts into a flat surface for sleeping or banquet-style dining around the table. The patented Nuage seat, designed for high levels of comfort, also is exclusive to the new Global aircraft family. The aircraft boasts that it is ideally suited for long-range flights.
