►Cushman & Wakefield has negotiated the sale of a 756,038-square-foot office portfolio in Tampa for $156.9 million, which includes 501 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa, and four buildings in the Westshore District, Westshore Corporate Center, Cypress Center I, Cypress Center II and Cypress Center III.

►Ronald Christaldi, a partner with the law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, will serve on the Ybor City Development Corp. board of directors.

►81 Bay Brewing Co. promoted assistant brewer, Hayley Whitman, to head brewer.

►The American Cancer Society named longtime Tampa Bay Times journalist Ernest Hooper its communications director for the nonprofit’s southwest Florida region.

Tampa-based digital marketing firm Bake More Pies added Valerie Noel as senior digital account manager, where she will serve as the lead point of contact for customer account management, including as a liaison and project manager with the company’s social media, media buying, creative, video, and development departments for the proper execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns.

►Marcum merged with Skoda Minotti, a Tampa-based accounting and business advisory firm, adding 31 partners, more than 190 associates and four offices to Marcum’s Midwest and Florida regions.

►Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough added Kevin M. Mekler to the firm as a partner in Tampa.

►Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick Tampa partner Andrew J. Mayts Jr. was elected as treasurer of the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

►Brian Deming, co-founder and former president of Tampa technology company Tribridge, was named 2020 board chair for Tampa Bay Wave.

Tampa-based residential real estate team, The Wertz Group, switched its brokerage affiliation from Coldwell Banker to Coastal Properties Group International, joining the affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.

►BTI Partners, a real estate development firm, closed on the sale of a 1.6-acre site slated to become a waterfront restaurant in Westshore Marina District.

►Franklin Street negotiated the sale of Bella Vista Apartments, a 16-unit rental property located at 803 E. 120th Ave. near the University of South Florida in Tampa, for seller WLW Capital of Tampa, for $1.975 million.
