►HCA Healthcare West Florida named Leanne Salazar as chief nurse executive.

►Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a commercial real estate investment services firm, sold a North Hyde Park development site in Tampa for $3 million, which is set to become a five-story, mixed-use property with 192 apartments and a ground-floor retail area.

►Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the sale of TriPointe Plaza, a three-building, mixed-use asset positioned along Boy Scout Boulevard in Tampa’s Westshore Business District, which consists of a 46,708-square-foot office building, a structured parking garage and 30,850 square feet of retail space, including Eddie V’s Prime Seafood & Steaks.

►Mizzen & Main, a men’s performance apparel brand, opened in Hyde Park Village in Tampa.

►Holland & Knight has promoted three of its Tampa-based lawyers to partners, including Eric Almon, a member of the firm’s business section; David Lisko, a member of the firm’s litigation section; and Jameson Rice, a transportation lawyer practicing primarily in the areas of road, rail and intermodal transportation, as well as unmanned aircraft systems.

►ConnectWise, a Tampa tech firm, made a number of changes to its executive leadership team, Including Geoffrey Willison being named chief operating officer, Brad Surminsky being named chief financial officer, Clint Maddox being named chief revenue officer and Steve Cochran being named chief technology officer.

►Cushman & Wakefield has arranged financing for the acquisition of Tri-County Business Park, a collection of 14 premier light industrial buildings totaling 492,235 square feet, in Tampa.

►The Tampa Museum of Art has added Ron Christaldi, a partner in the law firm Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick and president and CEO of Shumaker Advisors Florida, to its board of trustees. 

►MetWest International will add a Starbucks to its lineup of amenities at its retail center, across from International Plaza and Tampa International Airport, in Tampa’s Westshore Business District.

►Osceola Capital, a private equity firm in Tampa,  has acquired Healthcents, an Austin, Texas-based health care consulting company.

►HCP Associates in Tampa named Shirleyn Babu as a new content development specialist.

►Shake Shack (NYSE:SHAK) will open its first location in the Tampa region in the mixed-use Midtown Tampa development.

Tampa’s MGT Consulting Group’s Education Solutions Group named Michael Raisor as senior vice president of client services.

►Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI) announced the sale of Sweet Tomatoes, an 8,523-square foot net-leased property located in Tampa, for $3.71 million.

►Hill Ward Henderson elected two new shareholders: Matthew F. Hall and Zachary W. Watt.

►Cott Corp., a Tampa beverage company, will rebrand after buying Primo Water Corp., a Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based water company.

►Carlton Fields named Lori Baggett as the Tampa office’s managing shareholder.

The Tampa office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick has two new partners: Christopher Cavaliere and Clinton Morell.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa, an 84-room hotel located at 3333 Busch Blvd., near Busch Gardens and Adventure Island, sold for $13 million. The Shutts Tampa office was honored by the American Cancer Society, for their Making Strides event, as a top ten contributor for fundraising efforts in the Tampa Bay area.

Tampa-based real estate developer Strategic Property Partners opened the innovative district cooling facility, at Water Street Tampa, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and Hillsborough County Commissioner Pat Kemp.

►Mainsail Lodging & Development, a Tampa-based hospitality company, is opening Mainsail Corporate Housing, the company’s first brand entry into the corporate housing industry.

►Tampa General Hospital named Mark Runyon its new executive vice president and chief financial officer.

►Michelle Turman, CEO of Catalyst Consulting Services, has been appointed by Dean Eric M. Eisenberg to serve on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Arts & Sciences.

►Jason Woody, president and CEO of Lions Eye Institute for Transplant & Research, was appointed to the Tampa Bay Sports Commission board of directors.

St. Louis-based Centene Corp. finalized its acquisition of WellCare Health Plans, completing a $17.3 billion cash-and-stock deal struck in 2019.

►Felicia Harvey, corporate affairs lead for Amgen’s Capability Center in Tampa, joined the Florida Aquarium’s board of directors.
