One Liners Polk: Lakeland Regional Health, HCA Healthcare and more

►Brandon Regional Hospital, an HCA Healthcare West Florida hospital, opened a new full-service ER 24/7 at 3526 S. Florida Ave., Lakeland.

► Watson Clinic’s Sleep Disorders Center in Lakeland received re-accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine for a period of five years.

► Watson Clinic also added Ajay K. Verma, a board-certified radiologist, to Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland; Nicole Murphy, a registered nurse practitioner, to Watson Clinic’s Urgent Care Main facility; and Amber Peterson, a registered nurse practitioner at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.

► Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced the sale of Griffin Park, a 178-unit apartment property located in Lakeland for $17.5 million.

► Lakeland Regional Health was awarded $25,000 from AT&T’s charitable arm to help buy protective gear for its frontline workers.

► The Florida Cabinet voted to approve buying a conservation easement on a 713-acre property in the Green Swamp, north of Polk City.
