►Solar Power World recognized the efforts of solar contractors across the United States in its 2020 Top Solar Contractors list, where Sarasota solar installer Brilliant Harvest earned a rank of 352, among companies from across the country, and 34th in Florida.

Sanitizing manufacturer Durisan, in Sarasota, entered into a partnership with Hudson News Distributors to bring the company’s products to more than 15,000 locations throughout the northeastern United States.

►The Van Wezel Foundation, a performing arts foundation in Sarasota, named Susan McCreary chief finance and administration officer.

►Océane, Siesta Key’s newest luxury condominium from Crossgate Partners and architect Mark Sultana, closed on its last two units as of July 10.

►Jean D. Kabongo has been selected to serve as the University of South Florida’s Sarasota-Manatee campus dean for the USF Muma College of Business.

►Andrea Knies, of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, a member of the Central West Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, earned professional accreditation in public relations.

►The University of South Florida has appointed Daniel LaForge as director of facilities planning and management for the Sarasota-Manatee campus, replacing longtime director Rick Lyttle.

►Sarasota Memorial Health Care System opened its new $27 million radiation oncology center.
