One Liners Sarasota and Manatee: Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, Whitacker Lofts and more

Manatee County Habitat for Humanity held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Poling Gardens community in West Samoset, where all homes in the development will be sold with an affordable zero-interest mortgage to local families who have been affected by the housing crisis.

David Clapp, a managing broker and director of education at Re/Max Alliance Group, was named the 2022 Realtor of the Year by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee.

Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced the sale of a portfolio of industrial storage facilities, in Bradenton, for $6.15 million.

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center has announced plans to add a new $120 million, five-story, 60-bed patient tower to the Lakewood Ranch campus. 

Children First, a Sarasota nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational services to children Head Start and Early Head Start services, received a $50,000 Community Grant through Gulf Coast Community Foundation and the Jarrett Family Fund to support the agency’s $600,000 Changemaker Collective Challenge Match.
