Great Places and Spaces: The Nolen tops out in downtown St. Pete (RENDERINGS)

Construction on The Nolen, one of downtown St. Petersburg’s newest condominium towers, reached a milestone with Ellison Construction announcing that the project has topped out.

The construction team celebrated the milestone with a ceremonial tree raising, an ancient construction tradition.

The 23-story condominium tower, which is under construction, at 126 4th Avenue Northeast, is being developed by Tampa-based DDA Development, led by Bowen Arnold and John Schilling, and St. Pete-based Backstreets Capital, led by Will Conroy.

Ellison Construction broke ground on the development in October 2022. At 288-feet, The Nolen is among the 10 tallest buildings in St. Petersburg.

The building will have 31 residences. More than 80% of the residences at The Nolen have been sold, with only several half-floor residences remaining. Pricing for the remaining units start at $2.4 million.

Smith & Associates Real Estate is the exclusive broker for the development. The Nolen is expected to wrap up construction in 2024.
