Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast have received a $60,000 grant from the AT&T Foundation.
The grant is meant to bridge the digital divide and enhance technological access for thousands of kids and teens.
Funding will allow four Boys & Girls Clubs in Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas County to be equipped with dedicated learning spaces that will facilitate hands-on learning, skill development and creativity.
These AT&T Digital Learning Corners will feature state-of-the-art devices and tools, internet access and a curriculum that emphasizes digital literacy and multimedia projects.
