The Tampa Bay Buccaneers make a substantial gift to the AdventHealth Foundation West Florida.

AdventHealth Foundation West Florida held its annual Starlight Gala on Sunday evening. During the event, the foundation announced Darcie Glazer Kassewitz, owner and co-chairman of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, president of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Foundation and president of the Glazer Vision Foundation, as chair of the 2025 AdventHealth West Florida Starlight Gala.

The Glazer family also announced that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a $3 million donation that will help fund health care access and quality of care, clinical services, research and innovation projects at AdventHealth Tampa.

“It is an honor to be asked to be the chair for the 2025 Starlight Gala. AdventHealth continues to set the precedent as leaders in the health and wellness space and has been an incredible partner for my family and the Buccaneers, for over a decade,” said Glazer Kassewitz.

The 2024 AdventHealth Starlight Gala, at the J.W. Marriott Tampa Water Street, brought together the community in a show of support for advancing women’s and children’s health care services across AdventHealth’s West Florida Division.

“The 2024 Starlight Gala was a true testament to what can be achieved when a community comes together for a shared purpose,” said David Ottati, president and chief executive officer of the AdventHealth West Florida Division. “The generosity and commitment of our supporters will have a lasting impact on the lives of women and children across West Florida.”

The event’s proceeds will be dedicated to supporting essential services such as OB-GYN, pediatric surgery, labor and delivery and maternal-fetal medicine.
