Animal rescue organization celebrates five years with its first fundraising dinner

The Mercy Full Project, a Tampa Bay nonprofit dedicated to animal rescue, founded in 2019 in the trunk of Founder Heydi Acuna’s car, is celebrating its fifth anniversary and holding a fundraising dinner, on September 13, at Tampa River Center.

Mercy Full Project helps animals that need medical assistance, shelter animals facing euthanasia, behavioral cases that require additional training, owner surrenders, strays and emergency cases of all kinds, including abuse cases. It rescues animals in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

The nonprofit’s first fundraising event will have silent auctions, awards, adoptable pets and more.
