USF releases updated on-campus stadium rendering

The University of South Florida has unveiled a new rendering of its on-campus stadium, set to open in 2027. One notable feature is that the entire west side of the stadium will be exclusively dedicated to students.

The design includes a dedicated student entrance, restrooms and concessions. The west side will accommodate over 8,000 students and prominently feature the “Iconic Bull U” logo, a symbol that has represented USF for more than two decades. Additionally, the student section will host an in-game DJ.

“The passion of the student body is what makes college sports so special,” said Michael Kelly, USF’s vice president for athletics. “Many of the amenities on the west side were designed with student input.”

The groundbreaking for the on-campus stadium is scheduled for October 18, with additional renderings expected to be released in the weeks leading up to the event.
