Cruise Tails and Expedia Cruises of West Orlando bring a canine cruise experience to Tampa.

Dog lovers, get ready to embark on a tail-wagging adventure. Cruise Tails and Expedia Cruises of West Orlando have announced the launch of the first-ever dog-friendly cruise, set to sail from Port Tampa Bay, in November 2025.

The voyage hosted aboard Margaritaville at Sea’s flagship vessel, The Islander, will welcome 250 dogs, their owners and their human guests as inaugural ambassadors. Themed activities on board will include gift bags and samples from top pet brands, dog shows, training sessions, costume contests, parades and expert guest speakers.

To ensure smooth sailing for all aboard, Cruise Tails has implemented pet-friendly protocols including an application process, pet butlers, private relief stations and more.
