Steven Peterman, owner of Pete’s Bagels, is launching Monday Morning Club, a diner-inspired co-working space, in Gulfport, offering free Wi-Fi, coffee, Friday bagels and event discounts. 

California-based medical tech startup Prenuvo, known for its $2,500 full-body MRI scans that detect cancer and other health conditions, announced plans to open its first Tampa Bay location at the Sundial, in downtown St. Petersburg.

Thomas Jewsbury, celebrating 30 years at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, was named Aviation Professional of the Year by the Florida Department of Transportation, at the 2024 Florida Airports Council Conference.

Olympus Property has acquired 930 Central Flats, a 218-unit luxury apartment community in Downtown St. Pete’s EDGE District, for $81 million, from White Oak Partners.

Hope Perez, an 18-year banking industry expert, has joined St. Petersburg-based BayFirst National Bank as senior vice president and director of business banking, leading the development and delivery of business banking services across its 12 Tampa Bay branches.

Kolter Urban has acquired 4.5 acres of waterfront property, on St. Pete Beach, for $15.1 million, to develop a mixed-use residential project, expanding its portfolio of luxury developments in the area.

St. Pete residents Kevin and Lisa Goettel are bringing Dill Dinkers, a Maryland-based pickleball club franchise, to Pinellas County, with plans to open at least 10 locations, starting with a targeted facility in St. Petersburg.

Incanto Moda Italiana, an Italian women’s boutique offering curated Italian fashion, is opening its second location, at the Sundial, in downtown St. Petersburg.

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, a modern barbershop chain with over 135 locations nationwide, has opened a 1,265-square-foot space, at the Moxy by Marriott Hotel, in St. Petersburg’s EDGE District. 

Velera, a St. Petersburg-based financial technology provider, has appointed Joan Opp, president and chief executive officer of Stanford Federal Credit Union, to its board of directors, succeeding Dennis Devine.

Wild Fork Meat and Seafood Market opened its first St. Petersburg location, at 2801 4th Street North, offering a selection of meats and seafood.
