Cannabis machinery manufacturer expands to Tampa

STM Canna, a cannabis processing machinery manufacturer, based in Spokane Valley, Washington, has announced its expansion to Tampa, leasing 2,676 square feet at the Bank of America Plaza downtown.

The new regional headquarters will include a showroom and administrative offices, with plans to add 20 jobs over the next three years.

The company, founded in 2017, specializes in pre-roll automation solutions for cannabis cultivators and processors. STM Canna’s products are used nationwide and internationally. The new Tampa location aims to better serve its growing East Coast customer base, according to a statement.

“We fell in love with the Tampa area,” said Jason Dueweke, chief executive officer of STM Canna, in a statement. “Bringing our East Coast customers here to see the showroom is a game changer for us. This marks an exciting new chapter.”

The Tampa Bay Economic Development Council supported the company’s expansion, providing labor market data, business resources and workforce training assistance.
