Ronto Group announces new Sarasota Bay condominium project (RENDERINGS)

The Naples-based Ronto Group is expanding its presence in Sarasota with a new luxury condominium project, Amara on Sarasota Bay, set to be built on Golden Gate Point.

Demolition of the former Pier 550 condominiums began Jan. 23 to make way for the nine-story development which will include 54 residences, across two towers. The 2.3-acre property features 660 feet of bayfront and a private marina, with one slip designated for the community homeowner’s association.

Developed in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital, Amara will offer residences starting at $4.2 million. Floor plans range from 2,600 to 3,500 square feet, with each unit featuring an expansive outdoor terrace. The development includes seven penthouses and select residences with private pools, spas, outdoor kitchens and bars.

Amenities will include a pool terrace overlooking Sarasota Bay, a fitness center with a sauna and steam room, a social club room and an indoor-outdoor bar. Additional features include a bocce ball court, game room, fire pit seating areas, hot and cold plunge pools, and an outdoor yoga lawn.

Ronto Group’s other Sarasota luxury projects under construction include Rosewood Residences Lido Key and The Owen Golden Gate Point.
