Melting Pot has reopened in downtown St. Petersburg, returning to the city after a five-year absence. The restaurant, known for its interactive fondue dining, is now operating at 699 Central Ave.
The 4,900-square-foot location includes 191 seats across multiple dining areas, an indoor-outdoor bar and an eight-seat chef’s table that offers views into the kitchen. New features also include local artwork and updated design elements using wood and marble.
Melting Pot previously operated in the area for more than 30 years before closing its St. Petersburg location in 2020. The company cited customer demand as a key reason for the reopening.
The menu features a mix of traditional and locally inspired items, including Bourbon Bacon Cheddar and Brie & Fig cheese fondues, as well as DulChai de Leche and Burnt Orange Grand Marnier chocolate fondues. Guests can also order salads, entrées and cocktails.
Melting Pot was founded in 1975 in Maitland, Florida, and operates nearly 90 restaurants across 30 states.
