CR Fitness Holdings, the largest franchisee of Crunch Fitness, acquired nine 24 Hour Fitness gyms located in Miami and Orlando. The acquired facilities will undergo renovations to adopt Crunch Fitness’s “3.0” design, enhancing their amenities and offerings.
The gyms, located in Doral, Homestead, Miami Gardens, Plantation, Apopka, Kirkman, Lake Mary, Orlando Park and Winter Park, will receive multimillion-dollar investments. Upgrades will include expanded Olympic weightlifting areas, improved relax-and-recover zones, premium cardio and strength equipment, group fitness studios, cycling areas, hot yoga and Pilates studios, saunas, HydroMassage, tanning services and updated locker rooms.
This expansion increases CR Fitness Holdings’ operations to 84 gym locations across Texas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. The acquisition enhances fitness options in Florida, providing over 60 Crunch Fitness locations statewide.
CR Fitness Holdings is based in Tampa and operates more than 500 gyms worldwide.
