Clearwater Beach, Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach land top spots in Florida beach rankings

Three of Pinellas County’s beach destinations have been named among the best in Florida.

In USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, Clearwater Beach ranked No. 2, Treasure Island Beach landed at No. 3 and St. Pete Beach came in at No. 7, on the list of “Best Beaches in Florida.” The results are determined by public vote.

In addition, Sloppy Joe’s on the Beach, a popular beachfront bar at the Bilmar Beach Resort on Treasure Island, earned national recognition as one of the “Best Beach Bars in the U.S.”

The annual 10Best awards spotlight top travel destinations based on expert nominations and public votes, recognizing everything from beaches to bars and outdoor experiences.
