Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl champion Martin Gramatica rolled up his sleeves alongside his family and foundation this week, to help build a home for Army veteran Priscilla Reed, through Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside’s 2025 Veterans Build.
Gramatica, members of the Gramatica Family Foundation and future homeowner Reed worked side by side on the construction site. It marks the fifth time the foundation has sponsored a Veterans Build Home with Habitat.
Reed served 10 years in the Army and faced housing instability after the pandemic. Despite years of on-time rent payments, she experienced homelessness for four months, according to a statement.
Since 1985, Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside has helped more than 990 homeowner partners across Pinellas, West Pasco and Hernando counties, offering zero-interest loans and requiring “sweat equity” contributions from future homeowners.
