Truist names new Tampa market president, expands role for Orlando-based leader

Jo-Lynn Brown August 28, 2025

Truist Financial Corp. has named Ryan Booher as its new Tampa Bay market president and elevated Orlando-based executive Steve Fisher to a broader commercial sales role.

Booher, who has over 20 years of experience in corporate, middle-market and government banking, will lead Truist’s efforts to expand relationships with clients and raise the company’s profile in the region. He previously worked with large and mid-sized financial institutions, specializing in complex debt structures and treasury management solutions.

Booher is active in the community, serving with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

Fisher, who has 24 years of experience in financial services and has held senior leadership roles at Truist for the past five years, has been named commercial sales leader. He will remain based in Orlando and oversee strategy and execution with commercial banking teams across the company’s markets.
