The Aloft and Element Tampa Midtown hotel has appointed Jason Perkins as its new general manager.
Perkins will oversee operations at Tampa’s first dual-branded hotel, which opened in 2021 and combines the loft-inspired design of Aloft with the eco-conscious concept of Element. His responsibilities include managing guest services, financial performance and team leadership.
Perkins previously served as dual general manager of the AC Clearwater Beach Hotel & Courtyard. He has also held leadership roles at The Karol Hotel, in Pinellas County, as well as properties in Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina and California. He holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the University of South Florida and has more than 15 years of industry experience.
