The Tampa Bay Rays will debut a series of privately funded renovations to premium club areas and suites at Tropicana Field when the team returns for its April 6 home opener against the Chicago Cubs.
The upgrades include full redesigns of The Baldwin Group Club, the DEX Imaging Home Plate Club and multiple suite levels. The team said the improvements reflect a renewed focus under new ownership on upgrading the premium fan experience ahead of the 2026 season.
Rays CEO Ken Babby framed the renovations as part of a broader reset in the organization’s approach to hospitality at the ballpark.
“Simply put, our fans deserve the best, and we are committed to setting a new standard for premium experience in all of these new neighborhoods at Tropicana Field,” Babby said in a statement. “The upgrades reflect our ownership group’s new vision for creating elevated, memorable spaces that offer the best in hospitality while also staying connected to the energy and excitement that makes Rays baseball special.”
The Baldwin Group Club, located on the fourth floor, underwent a comprehensive redesign that includes new flooring, lighting, lounge furniture and an expanded media and video wall.
The club’s food and beverage program has also been upgraded with new equipment and chef-driven action stations.
Within that space, the Tropicana Room has been renovated to serve as the exclusive dining and lounge area for DEX Imaging Home Plate Club members. The club said both spaces will be available for private events and rentals on non-game days.
The DEX Imaging Home Plate Club, located directly behind home plate, has been fully reconfigured. Former storage and service areas have been converted into new member-only spaces, including a speakeasy-style lounge with craft cocktails and media screens and a specialty candy room featuring curated treats.
The team also redesigned its Executive Suites on the main concourse level behind home plate. The suites now include upgraded finishes, in-suite restrooms, new appliances and built-in induction systems for food service.
On the Webull Suite Level, Premium Suites were reimagined with redesigned interiors, upgraded lighting and technology, new cabinetry with quartz countertops and refreshed furniture intended to improve client hosting and group entertaining.
Season memberships for the renovated premium spaces are now on sale, including 20-game, half-season and full-season options. The Rays said limited inventory remains.
