Pottery Barn is preparing to open at International Plaza, with permits showing plans for both a main store and a Pottery Barn Kids location at the Tampa mall.
The retailer is listed as “coming soon” on International Plaza’s website. City of Tampa records show that permits were issued for two interior buildouts at 2223 N. West Shore Blvd., including a roughly 12,400-square-foot Pottery Barn store and a separate 6,500-square-foot Pottery Barn Kids space, both on the second level.
The planned openings follow Pottery Barn’s departure from Hyde Park Village in April 2025.

International Plaza’s owner, Simon Property Group, said in February it plans to invest more than $250 million across three flagship properties, including the Tampa mall, after taking full control of the asset. Plans for the property include a 50,000-square-foot open-air expansion, updates to Bay Street and interior renovations. Construction is expected to begin in 2026.
The mall, anchored by a mix of luxury and national retailers, sits within Tampa’s Westshore district and includes home furnishings brands such as RH, Arhaus, Crate & Barrel and Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn’s parent company.
What we don’t know
The permits do not list an opening timeline. Pottery Barn has not confirmed a target opening date or lease details. Tampa International Plaza did not respond to TBBW’s request for comment.
