LCG Advisors expands Investment Banking Operations with key hires

LCG Advisors is expanding its investment banking operations with the addition of senior finance professionals.

Kevin Groff has joined LCG as senior managing director to lead the firm’s Business Services Group, which includes investment banking, forensic accounting, litigation support and a newly developed exit advisory division. Groff will be based in West Palm Beach and will work from LCG’s Tampa and Denver offices.

Joining Groff are managing directors Jonathan Berg, Thomas Smith and Michael Parham, along with senior associate Jake Moberg. The team, previously at U.S. Bancorp, will be based in Southern California, Minneapolis and West Palm Beach.

“These additions strengthen our ability to serve middle-market business owners and their advisors,” said Brian Smith, managing partner and co-founder of LCG Advisors. “Kevin brings extensive experience and leadership to help guide our business services team forward.”

The new hires bring decades of corporate finance experience from firms such as Piper Sandler, Deloitte, Credit Lyonnais and Canaccord Genuity, with operational backgrounds in consumer, industrial and other markets.

LCG Advisors, which has offices in Tampa, Nashville and Denver, provides transaction advisory services nationwide. Its investment banking division assists companies with mergers and acquisitions, corporate debt placements and other financial transactions.
