►Developer and investment firm Pollack Shores Real Estate Group plans to develop a 224-unit apartment community in Largo named The Rosery.

RCS Pinellas has been recognized as the 2019 Biggest Community Impact organization at the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce’s annual Celebration Awards.

► St. Petersburg-based Paradise Advertising & Marketing has added the LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort, in Naples, to its client portfolio.

Major Easthagen, sales associate with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty’s Clearwater office, has been appointed to the Florida Realtors board of directors for 2019.

► Clearwater-based Taronis Technologies, formerly known as MagneGas, acquired Cylinder Solutions, a Tyler, Texas, gas services company, for $1.5 million.

Wish Maker’s Blend

►Make-A-Wish Southern Florida and Tampa-based Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company teamed up to create the “Wish Maker’s Blend,” a specialty coffee that will have a portion of online sales dedicated to underwriting the cost of life-changing wishes for critically-ill children in the Tampa Bay area.

TradeWinds Island Resorts rebranded its Guy Harvey Outpost property on St. Pete Beach, to RumFish Beach Resort by Tradewinds.

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater named Craig Campbell as director of community and brand engagement, and Sarah Kirchberg as director of sports and events.

KnowBe4, a Clearwater cybersecurity training and simulated phishing firm, acquired El Pescador, a Brazilian company.

Hold-Thyssen, a full-service commercial real estate firm with offices in Clearwater and Winter Park, completed the sale of 2 acres at 3200 McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater for $962,500.

Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Robin Miller was appointed to the 2019 board of directors for Creative Pinellas.       

Lynn Sherman joined Trenam Law’s St. Petersburg office as a shareholder.

Seminole Financial Services founder and CEO Bob Banks has stepped back from his role and will become chairman of the firm, which provides financing for renewable energy and multifamily housing projects nationwide, with SFS executive vice presidents Chris Diaz and Tim Fetter being promoted to serve as co-CEOs.

Calais Park Lofts Apartments

►29th Street Capital, a privately held real estate investment and advisory firm, acquired Calais Park Lofts Apartments, a 261-unit community in St. Petersburg.

Tampa Bay Watch named new officers to its board of directors:  Mary Ann Renfrow as chair, Mark Chmielewski as vice chair, and Doug Sokolowski as treasurer and secretary.

Sunstar Paramedics in Pinellas County awarded employee Joshua Hoover, safety and risk coordinator, the 2019 Commissioner Morroni Award of Excellence in EMS for his quick off-duty response during a drowning accident.

Raj Seshadri, president of U.S. Issuers at Mastercard, will join Raymond James Financial board of directors, effective June 1, as a member of its audit and risk committee.

Raymond James & Associates is relocating its downtown St. Petersburg branch office to the top floors of 200 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg.

Andrew J. McBride has been appointed partner in charge of Adam and Reese’s St. Petersburg office.
