Soft Surroundings opening
Soft Surroundings, a retailer of apparel, beauty and home items dedicated to making women look and feel their best, opened its newest location at International Plaza and Bay Street. Soft Surroundings offers stylish and comfortable clothing, accessories, beauty and home goods while making shopping easy. Best known for extremely soft fabrics, global inspiration, customer service and convenience, the store’s apparel and home goods mostly are designed exclusively by, and for the brand. Its beauty department will feature complimentary cosmetic and skincare consultations, as well as regular events.

SleepPhones go relaxation route

Nova Luxe debut
This summer, Nova Luxe Yachts launched its first boat: the all-electric Nova Luxe Aquila 44 luxury power catamaran. The company held sea trials at Westshore Yacht Club in Tampa.
Nova Luxe yachts is a distributor of Torqeedos Deep Blue motor systems, which makes electric drives for boats.
The company manages projects to convert 35- to 50-foot power catamarans to all-electric and solar operated.
Prices for the Aquila 44 by Nova Luxe start at $1.3 million, but the first model with additional features is $1.5 million. novaluxeyachts.com
