On the Scene: 2019 Wishmaker’s Ball Tampa

More than 400 guests enjoyed “The Art of a Wish” at the 10th Annual Wishmaker’s Ball Tampa, presented by PNC Bank. Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, guests bid on exclusive auction items and rocked out to a performance by Bret Michaels. In all, more than $420,000 was raised.

On the Scene: Tampa Golf Classic Plaque Dedication Ceremony

The American Cancer Society’s inaugural Tampa Golf Classic tournament, at Avila Golf and Country Club, raised enough money to fund an American Cancer Society Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge suite for a year. The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge provides free housing to cancer patients, and their caregivers, when they are receiving treatment at the Moffitt Cancer Center.

The Tampa Golf Classic plaque dedication ceremony featured a tour of the lodge, including the suite funded for the next year by the tournament.
