The sixth annual Leading the Way Awards Luncheon, benefiting the USF Women’s Health Collaborative, was held at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC. Betty Castor was honored as a women’s health advocate and received the 2019 Remark-a-Bull Award.

During the luncheon, The University of South Florida Women’s Health Collaborative, in partnership with USF Women in Leadership and Philanthropy, honored former USF President Betty Castor with the 2019 Remark-a-Bull Award.

CEO Council Spring Social

The CEO Council of Tampa Bay held its Spring Social. Guests joined CEO Council members for a festive evening of socializing, dancing, food and drinks.

It was an “under the sea” themed party at the River Center, located on the Hillsborough River at the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.

The largest annual fundraiser for the Rays Baseball Foundation, Rays the Ante Casino Night & Auction, brought Rays supporters, players, coaches and front office executives together for an exciting night of gaming with great prizes and one-of-a-kind experiences.

The event benefits the Rays Baseball Foundation which supports a variety of programming in Tampa Bay, all with the goal of energizing the community through the magic of Rays baseball.

►The Florida Board of Governors voted unanimously to formally designate USF as a “Preeminent State Research University,” which will bring the school $6.15 million in additional funding. The University of South Florida also appointed Michael Kelly the new vice president of athletics.
