►Kingdom Development, formerly JDL Development, purchased the Lakewood Heart Office Building, a 21,553-square-foot Class-A office building at 6771 Professional Parkway, Sarasota, for $3.4 million.

►Atlas World Group International, a subsidiary of Atlas World Group, added Sarasota-based Spirit Movers to its agent partner program.

The former Earth Fare space at The Green at Lakewood Ranch is set to be occupied by a Winn-Dixie store.

►Ian Black Real Estate donated $2,500 to Season of Sharing—a partnership between the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Herald-Tribune Media Group and other nonprofit agencies—to support those affected by COVID-19.

►Kolter Urban, the developer behind the new 333,000-square-foot mixed-use development Mark Sarasota downtown, named Ian Black Real Estate as the exclusive listing agent for the project’s office space.

The Archie Griffin Celebrity Golf Classic netted more than $220,000 to support organizations helping young people and their families.

► Doctors Hospital of Sarasota has named Allyssa Tobitt its new chief operating officer.

►Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a commercial real estate investment services firm, announced the sale of Sixth Street Plaza, a 20,922-square-foot retail property in Sarasota, for $1.7 million.

►Michael Crosby, CEO of Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, and Marlon Brown, deputy city manager of the city of Sarasota, joined the board of trustees at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. 

4311 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton

►JBCC Development purchased a 13,730-square-foot retail property on 2.1 acres, at 4311 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton for $1.1 million.

►Adams and Reese named Ryan Owen partner in charge of the law firm’s Sarasota office.

►Akron Biotechnology, a Boca Raton-based firm that develops cell and gene therapy and other treatments in cryotechnology, leased a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at 600 Tallevast Road, Sarasota.

►Tony Marchuk and Olivier Corizzi, co-owners of the Sarasota-based digital marketing agency Avenue Media, launched TakeoutSRQ, a free-of-charge platform to help support local restaurants.

All Faiths Food Bank was the recipient of $150,000 from two grants through the COVID-19 Response Initiative of Gulf Coast Community Foundation and Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation.
