One Liners Sarasota: Animal Rescue Coalition, Halfacre Construction and more

Laura McCann was named executive director of the Animal Rescue Coalition, a nonprofit organization with a mission to end the killing of adoptable dogs and cats, in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

Forestar Group, a subsidiary of D.R. Horton, unveiled plans for a new community called Star Farms, at Lakewood Ranch, a 33,000-acre master-planned community in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
