Tampa’s Mayor Jane Castor and Maestro Mark Sforzini, of the St. Pete Opera, were in Ybor City to celebrate World Art Day and a solo exhibition by French artist Geff Strik.
The event supported Project GOAT – The Global Offensive Against Trafficking. The internationally acclaimed artist Geff Strik, artist in residence for the Florida Orchestra, created a “Tribute to Five Great Artists: Picasso, Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol.”
In addition, the artist showcased original pieces created for multiple Florida Orchestra events.
The hosts included Phil Yost of Compass Land & Title and A+C Foundation’s Rob Canton. Project GOAT is a program of A+C Foundation.
