Current Rocky Point, a special-purpose entity affiliated with Tampa-based Caspers Co., has purchased The Current hotel, an Autograph Collection property by Marriott, at 2545 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, for $85 million.

Fast co-founder and chief executive officer Domm Holland, joined the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council as an executive committee member and will serve on the EDC’s board.

Avedis Kotchounian

Older Lundy Alvarez & Koch, in Tampa, added lawyer Avedis Kotchounian to its civil litigation department.

Verdex Construction, in Tampa, named Toby Johnson vice president and managing director of their Florida West Coast team.

Builders FirstSource, a supplier of building products, prefabricated components and value-added services, leased a 104,247-square-foot industrial space, at 1820 Massaro Blvd., in east Tampa.

The Tampa office of Adams and Reese moved from the Bank of America Building to 100 N. Tampa St., where it will occupy more than 13,000 square feet comprising the entirety of the 40th floor, atop the Regions Building.
